Here is a Picture of how one can remove the Antenna Nut from the outside of your Audi.  Extreme care should be taken when doing this, as you don't want to slip.    You can use a 13 mm wrench and turn the nut off.  Once this is done pull it up out from the Power Antenna Tube, as there will be a Short Sleeve attached to it.  Then your ready to Replace the Mast.
