I connect my power unit properly
and it will not run,
What do I do ?

    1. First take the new power unit to your cars battery, but before we test it make sure that the chrome nut at the top of the new power unit is screwed on because when we test it if that nut is not on when it does run the mast will fall out and now you will have that to install, so make sure the nut is on so the mast will not fall out.

    2. At the cars battery connect the black wire of the new power unit to the - post of the battery first, then connect both the Red and Green wires of the new power unit to the + post of the battery at the same time, it should click and run, let it, and after it stops on its own then keeping every thing connected ONLY and ONLY remove the Green wire of the power unit and it will run back in, let it run back in and then after it shuts off on its own then disconnect the remaining wires from the battery.

Now if it runs at the battery obviously the power unit works and should then work in the vehicle.  If it will not run at the car battery then you have a defective unit.

Note: On some vehicles, about 5% of them, the wire from the car antenna harness that connects to the green wire of the new power unit will test at 12 Volts with nothing connected to it when the radio is on and then when the green wire of the new power is connected to it, it will drop to about 4 volts.  This will cause the new power unit not to run because it needs 12 volts to work.  If you experience this you will need a low volt controller listed below.
